“We had such a wonderful stay at Woodside Cottage. The cottage is very cosy, beautifully presented and spotless. The bedrooms are inviting with lovely bedding and views. Both bathrooms have been tastefully designed with a good shower. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and more which leads into a cosy living room with log burner. We tried out the hot tub which was fantastic! The local pub serves excellent food, we would certainly come back. Hannah was a great host, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.”

“Beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. Lovely touches too with the Prosecco and snacks and fresh eggs for breakfast. Very quiet location with great walks and pubs all within walking distance, assuming of course that you don’t mind the odd hill. Will certainly look to book again in the future.”

“Simply a fantastic place to stay - warm and inviting with a wood burner, beautifully decorated, and perfectly situated with fields, pheasants and a stream in the vicinity. Hannah is also a great host and easy to communicate with. Would recommend.”

“We loved our stay at Woodside cottage! The location is great, lots of walks and pubs close by, as well as Windermere and Ambleside only a short drive away. The cottage was perfect, the decor is gorgeous with stunning views from the bedroom windows and a cosy fire place for the evening. The cottage has all the basics that you need and we appreciated the welcome package with snacks and drinks. Hannah and Joe were great hosts and replied fast to any queries and problems we encountered. We would love to return and definitely would recommend to others. Thanks for having us 😊”

“This house is stunning. If old features coupled with a new contemporary style - it’s just for you! The views from the home are amazing - especially while in the hot tub at the top of the garden. The home is a short walk from the local (friendly and lovely) pub, other walks and only a short drive to many places around the lakes! Hannah was brilliant with communication and the added extras for the stay just make it even better I would 100% recommend this home whether it be a couples getaway, family stay or girls weekend - it’ll be fab for all! 💛”

“We stayed as a group of two cupolas for a long weekend. The house is wonderfully presented, and better in real life than the photos! Location wise, there are two pubs within walking distance which was great for us. The hot tub is a lovely addition, as is the newly added annexe room. We didn’t use it but would come back with more people next time. We will absolutely be back, thanks so much for having us!”

“This is a lovely cottage in a very peaceful spot. The cottage is well located - not far from Windermere and quite easy to access from the M6. There is plenty of room downstairs, good size bedrooms and bathrooms and a decent garden with patio and it is very well presented.”

“Hannah has put so much thought into how people experience their stay at the cottage and has nailed it. Everything was very easy and simple. It was a joy to be there. A beautiful special place with views that can’t be captured fully on camera. Her lovely pictures don’t even do it justice.”

“Absolutely stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute at Woodside. The pictures are accurate but don’t do it justice at all. There was absolutely everything that we needed and more. We went as a very lest minute mini moon (with our dog and toddler) after getting married earlier in the week. We booked the night before and on arrival there was a beautiful balloon and champagne.
The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped. Everything has been thought of. Lovely bath and shower gel with shampoo and conditioner provided! We walked to both of the locals pubs. We loved both of them, v cosy with open fires. We didn’t get the opportunity to try the hot tub but it looks amazing! Hannah and Joe were so so responsive and really went above and beyond.”

“Beautiful peaceful retreat for our young family over New Years. The dogs loved lounging in front of the fire after a long day exploring. Our friends and family popped in to stay and have dinner and we enjoyed cooking up a treat. Comfortable, clean and cosy. Hannah was very friendly and helpful.”

“Woodside cottage is the perfect Lakes getaway. Great location for local walks and further afield hikes in Ambleside and beyond. The cottage was beautifully decorated and was bigger than the pictures made out. Cosy and homely for an AirBnB, with all the extras you need for a weeks or so stay. Will 100% be back.”

“Faultless cottage. Absolutely beautiful interiors. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with absolutely stunning views. The cottage is absolutely spotless. Wonderful location, definitely remote, but walking distance to pub and a short drive away from Windermere/Bowness. The cottage was much more spacious than we expected and genuinely size perfect for 2 couples. We had a wonderful stay and all wanted to move in! The small touches such as the welcome basket, dog bowls left out and a few essentials in the fridge/cupboards were unexpected and lovely. We will be back 😊”

“Absolutely perfect in every way. In a quiet and beautiful location but only 10 minutes drive from Windermere. Hannah has created a stunning place to stay. Extremely comfortable for our grown up family of 5 and 2 dogs. Stylish decor and furnishings, generous welcome pack and lots of other essentials provided (the ones that are often stripped out of rentals -shower gel, shampoo, coffee, tea, cleaning products) Hannah has really has gone the extra mile to make it a super comfortable and relaxing stay. Immaculately clean and well kept. Communication was super prompt and informative. Will certainly want to stay again.. Thank you so much Hannah.”
